Standards Required of Approved Contractor

All NICEIC Approved Contractors have been subject to a thorough assessment before enrolment. The assessment includes an exacting examination of their premises, test equipment, qualifications of staff  and samples of their installation work. Approved Contractors are required to:

1      Employ competent electricians with appropriate supervision.
2      Use materials that conform to the relevant British Standards.
3      Possess £1m Public Liability, however, we possess £5m Public Liability.
4      Carry out all work according to British Standard BS 7671(IEE Wiring Regulations), published by the Institution of Electrical Engineers, and other codes of practice.
